The pin holds the side panel closed and takes the load of the cargo pressing from the inside. It is installed on the left or right, in the same version.

A worn pin leaves a gap in which the panel bangs while driving, which quickly wears out the pin seat as well. Replacement is cheaper while only the pin is damaged.
