The HIAB TC (Earth Drill) is a hydraulic drive for an earth drill that attaches to a loader crane and powers an auger for drilling holes in the ground. It is available in three versions, with a torque of 3100, 5500 and 6800 Nm.
The 3000 version has a round auger connection, while the stronger 5500 and 7000 versions have a square one. The drive weighs from 73 to 110 kg and is 244 to 269 mm wide. With a suitable auger – for example from the HIAB S4 and S5 series – it forms a complete earth drill.
