NOOTEBOOM OVB Ballasttrailer for crane ballast
Trailer with 4 to 7 axles and hydraulic steering, for transporting crane ballast, crane parts and heavy machinery.
The NOOTEBOOM OVB Ballasttrailer is a trailer for transporting crane ballast (counterweights), crane parts and other heavy concentrated loads. In 1985, Nooteboom was the first to introduce a six-axle ballast trailer to the European market.
Fully hydraulic steering via the turntable allows maneuvering on cramped construction sites. The 5-, 6- and 7-axle versions also have counter-steering of the front axles, for a smaller turning radius and more stable reversing. Standard hydro-pneumatic suspension provides a long stroke and stability on uneven ground.
