Log handling grab PX series
The HIAB PX series are lighter log grabs in the PX 20 and PX 40 models, with a grip area of 0.2 to 0.4 m² and low dead weight.
HIAB PX series grabs are designed for loading and handling logs with forestry and loader cranes. The series includes the PX 20 and PX 40 models, with a grip area of 0.2 m² and 0.4 m² respectively, and a closing force of about 12 kN.
The PX 40 model is also available in a CV version with a locking valve, which holds the load in the grab. Weighing 135 to 185 kg, these are the lightest log grabs in this group, so they are also suitable for smaller cranes. The arm span ranges from 1100 to 1600 mm.
