The 553/66 valve controls double-acting hydraulic cylinders in three positions – raise, neutral, and lower. It is controlled pneumatically, via a 6×1 line from the cab.

The flow of 120 l/min and the maximum pressure of 315 bar must match the pump and cylinder in the system. A valve with a lower flow rate slows operation and heats the oil.
